Oil Spills are very expensive. For clean up alone the cost was 3 billion at about 6 million a day! That's without all the money lost for the oil, the cost of getting the animals and fish free of oil, and the money lost to higher the workers to clean up the oil. Where is all this money coming from? 3 billion dollars for one persons mistake. I just don't understand how it could cost that much money and that's not even including paying the workers, loss of oil or clean up for animals! I think if they would have just tryed burning the oil, instead of trying a bunch of other ways, there would have been less money spent.

I agree that oils spills cost alot of money but i did not think that they could cost up to $6 million a day. But i dont know if it would of been better to save money to burn the oil then pollute the air we breathe with the burniing oil. Think about it!
