Dawn specifically uses anionic surfactants like alkyl dimethyl amine oxide, found in "Dawn Power Dissolver". Combined with other ingredients like viscosity adjusters, buffering agents, and processing aids, this allows the soap to wash away oil without leaving behind a residue. How nice is that, for the animals?

Dawn, is making a great effort towards Oil Spills! I think that more big brands should try and come up with more relief efforts towards disasters such as this. I think if big brand names were to make a bigger effort towards disasters the world would be a better place, because they couuld donate more money, which they could use towards clean-up efforts!
