Eyes of Black and Water Of Blue, As I Spill More Oil Into You!

Does turning a blind eye make things any better for you ? Is being on the ouside and looking in onnly to ignore the detruction, working for you? The things we see and the things that are seen are two very different points of view. You can see with your eyes the destruction of the oil spill and dwindling natural resource but you can't feel it the way the people have truly seen it have. The people who have truly seen its affect, and understand the  need to fix it are the people that are willing to risk being scared of being looked at as a phny, someone blaming us for what nature caused. But who really causes the oil spills? Not treating this disaster such as a tornado makes sense but playing the blame game, and blaming things other then ourselves is wrong beyond belief.  Those people who are afraid to truly see will not be able to understand the need for help and closure, with those eyes of black, will never make a difference because they are so incredibly scared of guilt and, i don't know, blame! Our eyes are meant to see the world as it is and help what we can, but turning a blind eye to something we caused is a completely different scenario. They make it hard to follow the correct path, to save what we are losing. If saving what we are losing means losing only our pride, have we really got anything to lose at all. It may be hard to watch what we are truly doing, i understand, but is sitting and watching it over truly trying to help it get you anywhere but farther into the couch? Find a way to push past your inner guilt and blame and open up to what your eyes are supposed to see and open your mind to what your supposed to do with what you see.
