A Heavenly Cost

Close your eyes. You live in a world of millions of people. You go to school, you play sports and you socialize with friends. Now imagine one day, your world was turned around, all because of a spill. I know what you're thinking... How could someone possibly wipe out an entire population with just one spill? Well it can happen, it did happen, and it will happen again. Now open your eyes. You may be able to relate to some of the fish and aquatic life that help to keep our eco-systems going. The living things in the waters are not recognized as much as they should be, until tragedy strikes. Oil spills start with the weakest animals. Once that animal is completely instinct, their prey has no more food to hunt for and so on and so forth. Eventually, every breathing creature will fight to their last breath. We need to pay more attention to lives that aren't our own. The sad part is, it take's an oil spill to realize that. Of course, oil spills are a lot of money, infact, it costs most aquatics their lives.
