Oil spills in the oceans are a really bad thing that could happen. It will effect lots of things including wildlife, drinking water, money and humans. When it harms the wildlife it could just effect one species but then it will effect the food chain. Lower down in the food chain they will start to die and the fish higher up in the food chain they will start to lose there food and maybe even die. Then eventually the people who go out in the ocean to fish for their jobs they will lose a whole bunch of money because of the lack of fish.
