Oil... Oil... and more Oil

Birds in Oil Spills

Oil spills are dangerous and harmful to both humans and animals and sea world. The whole reason why it is dangerous to humans is  because when fish eat plankton its intoxicates and then when the birds or humans eat the fish it toxins their system. Since oil is filled with toxic and chemicals it can harm humans with their health not only does it happen through eating fish or seafood which is toxic from the oil but it can also happen if you were to go swimming because when you try to catch air you could breath in the water and swallow it. Another way humans and animals can also become harmed is by when you light the oil on fire it burns off all the chemicals  and toxins our ecosystem one the birds or animals breath it in and we hunt the animals and eat them it intoxicates us. You can see the chain reaction that oil has to our sea life, animals and humans. Oil is one of the most common pollutions in the world, oil spills happen when an oil tanker gets broken open and it starts to pour oil out into the oceans and since the oceans are all connected to the lakes and rivers the wind will take and push the oil all around and it contaminates the waters. Every one has heard of the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico... right? Well this oil spill was one of the most largest oil in  all of history since the oil spill since the 1967 called the Tory Canyon oil spill. That oil spill leaked about 119,000 gallons water. that's quite A LOT of oil.. am I right?
